Thank you for visiting Hoddesdon Swimming Club Web Site, we trust that you will find the content both informative and interesting.

We are a long established club with a fine record for excellence. We are Swim 21 Accredited with over 100 years of history, having produced many fine swimmers some of whom have competed at National level.

We compete in four swimming leagues-two are national competitions and two are Hertfordshire leagues. In addition most of our swimmers attend ”Open Meets” where they may gain valuable experience. Annually we hold our own “Open Meet” and Club Championships, both of which generate a great deal of team spirit and friendly rivalry.

It is important to us that all our swimmers are given every opportunity and encouragement to excel in their sport. To this end swimmers are allocated training squads according to their level of progression and commitment. As each swimmers skills develop they can apply to move to the next higher squad. We also encourage Land Training for stamina building.

Our team of Coaches, Teachers and Instructors are all experienced and well qualified they are led by our Head Coach Janet Warrington. Should you be interested in joining us you will find that we are a friendly
club with a strong team spirit and a high level of motivation. Although training is taken seriously, the social side of the club is also important.
