swimming for 30 minutes once a week. You will learn how to dive off blocks and

start to learn the ASA Laws for the turns.

In this squad you should have efficient frontcrawl with good breathing technique, you will have good body position for backcrawl and you will have a good breaststroke leg kick with developement of breaststroke timing and developing butterfly. Your stamina will be improving and your turns and starts will be coming along too. in this squad you will continue to improve on all the above.Technical Developement being paramount.

 BLUE SQUAD

In this squad you will start to work a little Aerobically improving your stamina even further.Your technical developement will be continued including starts and turns. You will also be working on sprints and preparing for competitions. You will still be pre PHV in this squad which means you haven’t started to grow rapidly yet.

 RED SQUAD

During your PHV (Peak Height Volocity) it is extremely important to work AEROBICALLY.  In this squad you will be doing just that. The main focus will be HIGH VOLUME LOW INTENSITY work. You will still be concentrating on Technique throughout but you will be swimming many more metres.Because of your age you may find you go through the earlier squads quite quickly, this will be because of LTAD (Long Term Athlete Developement) and PHV(Peak High Velocity).
