Report on Hoddesdon’s swimmers in the Hertfordshire County Championships 2010 There were plenty of medals won, several new PB’s and Regional times achieved during the Championships and every one who took part should be very pleased with their performance over the three weekends. The various medals were won by: Georgia Fisher 2nd in the 11 year old 50m Freestyle Jessica Waters 3rd in 14 year old youth 200m breastroke Emma Warrington 1st in youth 200m breaststroke, 1st in 200m breaststroke championships, 1st in youth 100m breaststroke 1st in100m breast championships 1st in 50m youth breaststroke 1st in 50m breast championships and 2nd in 200m I/M , Kirstin Meikle 2nd in 13 year old 50m backstroke and 3rd in 50m butterfly Hayley Warrington 2nd in 50m breaststroke, Kiera Sullivan 1st in 14 year old youth 200m butterfly Rebecca Freestone 3rd in 11year old 50m breaststroke lucy charles 1st 100m youth freestyle, 2nd 100m freestyle championships, 2nd in 50m youth freestyle, 2nd in 50m freestyle Championships, 2nd in 100m butterfly championships, 1st in 400m Freestyle championships and 1st in 200m butterfly championships. Chris Smith 1st in 13 year old 200m breaststroke, 1st in 100m breaststroke, 2nd in 50m breaststroke and 2nd in 100m I/M, Tomas Stevens 2nd in 12 year old 100m backstroke and 2nd in 50m backstroke, David Kelleway, 1st in 200m youth backstroke, 3rd in 50m breaststroke championships and 2nd in 400m freestyle, Paul O Doherty 1st in youth 100m butterfly and 1st in youth 200m I/M There were many Hoddesdon swimmers who got into the finals but did not medal and unfortunately they are too numerous to mention by name here, but a sincere well done to the following Hoddesdon swimmers who took part in the 2010 Championships.
