at Amwell View School, Stanstead Abbotts from 18:15-19:45hrs

  • ABOUT OUR TRI CLUB

    Anyone interested in Swimming, Cycling and Running should consister Triathlon.  The club caters for Juniors and Seniors and is looking for new members.

  • COMPETITIVE

    HSC in partnership with the Borough of Broxbourne provides teaching and coaching from the Borough's lesson programme right through to high performance with all stages in between and clear pathways to ensure members are able to reach their full potential and enjoy their swimming.

  • SPECIAL OLYMPICS

    Special Olympics East Herts povides training for people with an Intellectual (learning) Disability and the opportunity to compete.   There are two 30 minute sessions on a Tuesday evening at The John Warner Sports Centre (6.10pm or 6.40pm).

  • DISABILITY SWIMMING

    HSC is an Assessment Centre for British Disability Swmming.  If you have a disability whether physical, sensory or learning and you are interested in swimming contact the club and come along on a Sunday between 4-5pm.  The session is run by HSC and The John Warner Sports Centre and the coaching team can assess and advise you about the different pathways within swimming.

  • OPEN WATER

    Open Water swimming is becoming more and more popular.  HSC members can train at the Lee Valley White Water Centre twice a week from June - October.   We support the ASA East Region Open Water Championships and also take part in the Great Series events across the country.  The club is proud to have Lucy Charles as a member since 2002 who has represented TeamGB.

  • VOLUNTEERS

    The Volunteer Programme at HSC ranges from Sports Leaders from local secondary schools completing their Duke of Edinburgh awards or similar, to Officials developing skills to become Timekeepers, Judges, Starters and Referees, to development of swimming Teachers and Coaches and then the extremely important General Committee.  Without our volunteers the club could not run.

  • MASTERS AND TRIATHLON

    HSC has a Masters Section of whom some are also Triathletes.  The sessions are flexible with morning (6-7am) and evening sessions.  Masters swimmers swim for fitness and competitions which can be in the pool, open water, aquathlon or triathlon events.  If you are interested in triathlon please look at our Triathlon Pages on this website.
